The aim of the training is to introduce the main types of synthetic drugs, new psychoactive substances, chemicals and (pre-) precursors, as well as production methods and safety measures. It also covers the nature and modi operandi of the organised crime groups, and the investigative and cooperative approaches used to combat them.

The target audience is law enforcement officials, as well as forensic experts and representatives from judicial authorities specialised in combatting synthetic drug production and trafficking.
