The module aims at providing a general understanding of the darknet, the way criminals use it and how technology supports them. At the end of the module you are able to recognise someone's involvement in darknet crime, you can explain the darknet to others and list investigation tools needed to manage the threat.

It targets at officers new to the darknet, or those with a small amount of knowledge and who want to know more. It is not intended for investigators or analysts who already have technical and operational understanding of the darknet.
