Target Audience:
This training is designed for field operations commanders and officers, who interact with citizens, work preventively with communities, maintain public order and security by patrolling and respond to emergency situations.
Learning outcomes:
After studying this module you will be able to
- identify and name different (additional) symptoms and conditions related to brain disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities
- understand and help customers with suicidal thoughts
- summarise key characteristics of successful and unsuccessful communication and interaction with vulnerable customers
- predict how interactional situations might develop due to own actions and communication choices
- better identify mental and physical reactions in stressful interactional situations
- learn methods to reduce harmful stress and to build personal resilience.
