This judicial analysis is primarily intended to be used by members of courts and tribunals of EU Member States working on international protection cases. It focuses on qualification for international protection under the Qualification Directive (QD) (recast). As now updated, it incorporates the analysis of Article 15(c) QD (recast), which was originally the subject of a separate judicial analysis.

Commission Notice - Guidance on the right of free movement of EU citizens and their families

This Guidance covers the right of free movement of EU citizens and their families. It focuses primarily on Directive 2004/38/EC, but also on specific applications of Articles 20 and 21 TFEU. It aims at providing updated guidance and supporting the work of national authorities, courts and legal practitioners. It integrates the relevant case law of the EU Court of Justice and aims to provide for the necessary clarifications on specific issues that citizens and national administrations have faced during the last years.

UNESCO Massive Open Online Course: Upholding the Rule of Law in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

The Massice Open Online Course (MOOC) aims to introduce actors in the Justice System, such as judges, lawyers and prosecutors, to the intersection of AI and the Judiciary. This includes technical knowledge on AI and digital transformation, use cases of its adoption in Justice Systems, authoritative case-law as well as the legal, ethical, and the human rights implications of AI under international standards.
