Description
Between 2024 and 2026, a consortium composed by the European Lawyers Foundation (coordinator), the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe, and 8 EU Bars implemented the EU-funded TRAVAR project, which updated the infosheets on the application of three EU procedural rights directives (access to a lawyer, presumption of innocence, and legal aid) that had been produced through the EU-funded CrimiLAW project (for Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Spain) and that produced new infosheets for 3 EU Member States (Austria, Bulgaria and Romania). The TRAVAR infosheets cover now 9 EU jurisdictions (Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Spain).
