Description
The "Enhanced Capacity Training for Professionals Working with Convicted Children" course aims to provide correctional services with a state-of-the-art training course on the child-friendly execution of penal sanctions. As such, this course offers correctional and judicial professionals the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the areas of 1) Rights of the child in conflict with the law; 2) Child development and psychology; 3) Vulnerabilities and diversity; 4) Child-friendly communication; 5) Collaboration with families, institutions and community; 6) ICT skills; and 7) Resilience building.
By participating in this course, professionals will increase their knowledge and understanding, as well as be equipped with the practical capacity to work with the children in their care, treating them equally, respect their rights, addressing their special needs, and contributing to their successful reintegration into society.
