Description
Since the European Commission adopted the EU Agenda for the Rights of the Child, which identifies making the justice system more child-friendly as a key action item, the promotion of the rights of the child through the medium of EU legislation has become a reality. These training materials address practical issues concerning child-friendly justice and consist of concise texts suitable for training purposes, PowerPoint presentations as well as case studies (with possible solutions) and further interactive exercises (e.g. role plays) for use during practical workshops. Developed under the Specific Programme ‘Fundamental Rights and Citizenship’ of the European Commission.
