The first module of the training materials on access to justice for migrants provides an overview of the guiding principles on asylum procedural law. It allows participants to get an in-depth insight into the relevant international and EU instruments building the legal framework on asylum procedural law.

The free-of-charge Charter courses provide practical guidance on when and how the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights applies at the national level. At the moment, two Charter e-learning courses are available, the e-guidance and the e-case studies. Both provide practical guidance on applying the Charter as referred to in its Article 51(1) in an interactive way.

The result of the EC project ‘CJEU Hearings’ Recording as a Judicial Training Tool’, co-organised with the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) are six practical, hands-on individual training videos available on EU Academy (https://academy.europa.eu/courses/cjeu-training-videos) for self-learning or reuse in national training activities.

The fifth module provides an overview of the guiding principles on access to justice for migrant children and lists the main relevant rights.

Produced on the basis of comparative studies and dialogues between judicial operators and journalists,this booklet offers a useful perspective on the subject to all those who want to achieve anautonomous and independent judiciary, a free, plural and independent press and a quality relationship, while maintaining the boundaries of autonomy, between these two worlds.
