Description
This publication presents a systematic overview of all the types of judicial procedures before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) – with a particular focus on: the entities that can launch each type of procedure; the requirements for initiating a specific type of procedure; and the possible outcomes (judgments, orders, opinions) and their legal value.
This paper has been drawn up by the Members' Research Service within the Directorate-General for Parliamentary Research Services (EPRS) of the Secretariat of the European Parliament.
