Description

TREIO Online Training has been designed for all stakeholders irrespective of their role in the EIO process, but has been tailored to the needs expressed of the judicial audience.

TREIO Full Package (5 days; self-paced): extensive e-learning materials on the EIO Directive, EIO form and content, and specificities of the EIO process including using eEDES. Target Audience: all professionals required to handle EIOs and eEDES including new starters or those newly assigned EIO and eEDES responsibilities.

TREIO eEDES Package (2-3 days, self-paced): e-learning materials on how to use eEDES with EIO forms. Target Audience: ideal for competent authorities/employers who need to identify the parts of the training that are specific to the use of the eEDES and for nations who have yet to implement eEDES nationally and wish to see how the system functions and what might be expected of them.

Materials include best practices, case law, case studies, visuals, tutorials, and tools, including video demonstrations and embedded simulations of the TREIO eEDES Simulator that provides a safe environment for learners to test their knowledge and skills when sending and receiving EIO forms. TREIO leveraged on the e-CODEX Central Testing Platform to design and provide a real-time training for users in a completely transparent way, thus allowing for a more realistic and immersive training sessions. All exercises are contextualised to typical scenarios experience by the target audiences.

Access to the TREIO Online Training is provided upon registration and in an open access format. Guidance materials are offered to trainers. Developers' files and SCORM packages are available to competent authorities interested in contextualisation and application of online training to national context.

TREIO Online Training is developed by the 'TRaining on European Investigation Order' (TREIO) Project (04/2020 - 01/2024), GA 882068, that was funded by the European Union's Justice Programme (2014-2020).
